.Butterfly Nails.
I was having a play with my polish last night and decided to have a go at some Monarch Butterfly Nails. They were pretty tricky to do so i think i need a bit more practice - my lines are a little wonky! To do these you need a really thin brush and a very steady hand. I also found that using my Konad Special Polish was the only way to get the strong black lines, i’m afraid Barry M’s Black just didn’t cut it this time! This was only a quick manicure so i think if i took a bit more time over the design i may be able to get them looking a little neater but I thought I’d show you anyway.
Polish: Model’s Own Bronze Rage, Konad Special Polish in Black Pearl , Natural Collection White and as always - Seche Vite Topcoat.

.Glittered out of my tiny little mind.
I received a package today from the wonderful Goldleaf Craft Supplies aka The Glitter Shop.co.uk and goodness am I excited - look at all that glitter!
I now have bags and bags of glitter, sequins and caviar beads which are going to keep me busy for quite some time. I can’t stop feeling the packages either, they’re so squishy - like little sparkly stress balls!
I’m thinking of creating a Gold Caviar Manicure for a wedding this weekend so stay tuned for that one - and after that, well, the possibilities are endless! I’m not sure if it’s the glorious weather we’re having right now or if it’s the fun i have coming in the next few days but i feel like i’m on wind down already!
The fun starts on Friday when i’m helping mum take the school children to paint ball for the day - i may even convince her to get in the game with us! After that it’s a bit of shopping on Saturday and then Leigh’s sister’s wedding on the Sunday. Hopefully the weather will still be lovely for her. I still have no idea what to wear! Of course it’s the Queen’s Jubilee on Tuesday, so we have a few street party invites to choose from. Everyone is feeling ever-so British at the moment and there’s flags everywhere you look!
Then on Wednesday myself and Leigh are off to London for a few days to sight see, shop and watch Wicked!!! It’s come round so quickly and i’m just so excited!

.Tiger Nails.
Mum’s wild tiger nails for her birthday! She absolutely loves them and keeps taking pictures to send everyone - what a nail art fiend!
How to:
Paint a base coat of orange. Sponge white polish onto half of your nail and stamp your stripes using Konad’s special black polish - super easy!
Give it a go and show us your stripes!

We’re off to Leigh’s parents house this afternoon for a lovely BBQ in the sunshine. They have a beautiful garden so i really can’t wait to take some pictures too.
The legs are out, bring on the tan…yeah right!

Finally got round to creating some galaxy nails and they were a lot easier than i thought they would be!
Polish: Barry M Black, No7 Sing the Blues & I’m Exquisite, Model’s Own Golden Rage, Rimmel London Trend Spotting, Natural Collection White and Seche Vite Topcoat.
I have a few snaps of these along the way so i’ll pop together a quick ‘how to’ picture for you all if you want to give them a go - i’d love to see your nebulas! *cheeky*

.Peach & Gold Leopard Print.
- gelled and painted these cute spotted nails for my lovely cousin Lizzi today as a little early birthday present…hopefully she can keep them looking nice until her night out on Saturday!
