.What I Wore - Office Party Edition.

I absolutely adore Boohoo.com, so imagine my excitement when they asked to sponsor my outfit for our office party this weekend. This gorgeous dress was just perfect for the evening and i couldn’t love it any more. I’m wearing the biscuit version in a size small and it’s so comfortable, plus i think the length is just perfect for me being 5”7 and not wanting to show off too much leg.

I really love the pleats and found it so easy to style - i have a feeling that it’s going to be a great versatile addition to my wardrobe that will go right through spring into summer. Boohoo have just got some more of these dresses in stock so you can treat yourself to one HERE, and the best part is that they are only £20!

We all had a lovely evening in the end and i felt amazing in this outfit - even if it was a bit chilly on my bare legs walking between bars!

.Office Party Time.

This Friday we are teaming up with our sister companies at work and having a massive belated Christmas party! It’s going to be a great night and i can’t wait to get stuck into a free meal and lots of drinks!

I’ve been super lucky to be sponsored by the amazing Boohoo.com for the night and have been sent this absolutely gorgeous pleated dress to rock! It fits perfectly and i’m so excited to show it off. I’m thinking of teaming it up with a burgundy cardi, some nude heels and a vintage bag - hopefully it won’t be too chilly on the night!

Luckily we only work half days on Friday’s so i’ll have plenty of time to check in to our hotel and get ready to party!

leschoux asked: Hello Amelia :) I'd love to ask for some recommendations, please! Like you, I love tea, but thus far I've mostly gone back and forth between earl grey and English breakfast tea only. What's your recommendation/favourite type of tea? My friend brought me to this fancy tea shoppe with over hundred selections and I'm honestly stumped! Any advice will be appreciated :) love x

Hi Hunny!

Wow, one of my favourite things to talk about - tea! There are so many different types aren’t there?! It can get quite confusing, especially when they’re all supposed to do different things for you as well as tasting yummy.

I usually have quite a selection on my desk at work and in the cupboards at home for different moods and ailments! I always have a box of Ginger tea handy in case i ever feel a little queasy and of course a box of Dandelion tea for those days when i feel a little bloaty (regular readers will know my 100% recommendation of Dandelion tea for getting rid of excess water weight so i won’t bore you all again - but seriously, it’s brilliant!). Fennel is a great digestive to have around after a heavy meal too.

I’m really big on fruit tea though as a nice refreshing drink during the day or evening - my latest discovery is Blackberry & Nettle which i love. I think your best bet is to go for a selection box of fruit tea if they have one, Twinnings do quite a few different selections if you can get hold of those. This way you get a few teabags of each flavour so you can try them all, and if you like one or two you can then go back and buy a bigger box!

Let me know how you get on - and if you discover a super tasty one be sure to report back!

.What i wore - A very windy day with Romwe edition.

I was sent these amazing red leggings from Romwe and they couldn’t have come sooner as the lovely English weather has definitely taken a turn for the worst! They are lined with almost a fleece material which means they keep you super warm on chilly windy days like this one and although they’re nice and skinny they don’t feel too tight when you sit down or bend over. They are a little brighter than the website shows and turned out to be more red than i originally thought, but i have to say that i really do love the colour.

You can buy yourself a pair of these leggings HERE - but be quick because there’s only 8 left in stock!

Romwe are launching their Valentine’s day promotion early to make sure your items arrive on time so shop with them on the 7th, 8th and 9th of February and get 20% off your order with the discount code V-day20%

We like to think that he was around 97% touched and only about 3% offended at us drilling home the fact that he’s getting old in the form of a victoria sponge!
